UPDATE 6/30 and 7/1/07 - Bushy Run Kennel Club, Vandergrift, PA, under Judges Mrs. Barbara Dempsey Alderman and Mr. Norman B. Kenney, Goody won a conformation Championship point each day, handled by Julia Kinsey.

UPDATE 6/3/07 - Toledo Kennel Club, Maumee, OH, under Judge Carole Tipler, Goody won her second 3-point MAJOR toward her AKC conformation Championship, out of the 9-12 month PUPPY CLASS!  She was handled again by my friend, Julia Kinsey.
UPDATE 4/29/07 - Beckley Kennel Club, Lewisburg, WV, under Judge Brian Phillips, Goody won another point toward her AKC conformation Championship, out of the 9-12 month PUPPY CLASS!  She was handled by my friend, Julia Kinsey.
UPDATE 3/10/07 - Magic Valley Kennel Club, Marietta, OH, under Judge Dr. Harry Smith, Goody won her first points toward her conformation Championship, out of the 6-9 month PUPPY CLASS, which just happened to be a 3-point MAJOR!!!  She was handled by myself, and Julia Kinsey, of Canton, Ohio.

CH. Norwood's Hey Good Lookin, CD, RN, HIC

This is Goody, or Goodness, as I sometimes call her.  She came from Norwood Border Collies, Joyce Norris, of Illinois.  Both her mom and dad are Herding Champions.  At this time, Goody is being shown in the conformation ring.  Her first show was a few days after her 6 month birthday.  I didn't expect her to win over the older dogs, but it was a great learning experience.  I was very pleased that she behaved and showed like a seasoned dog.  Goody has a smooth, easy gait, and covers ground in the blink of an eye.  As with any puppy, she's learning to gait without bouncing and jumping. 

Goody has been learning the foundation work of obedience and agility.  I have been playing the "eye game" for attention, she's taking, holding and carrying the dumbbell, doing go-outs, and she's already getting proficient with hand signals for stand, lie down, and come.  She's been learning targeting, working on puppy-sized agility contact obstacles, jumping over bars on the ground, and the necessary ground work, such as turning, and working off both sides of me.  Everything is as it should be...fun, fun, and more fun.  What a Goody Little Girl! 

Goody has CERF'd clear, OFA EXCELLENT, and is clear by parentage for CEA/CH/CL
