BUDDY, HOLLY AND CRICKET HAVE LEFT FOR THEIR NEW HOMES:

Buddy has chosen to live with his new mom, Julia, in Pennsylvania.  He would like to compete in conformation, agility, herding and obedience.  He also told her that he would like to be called DARWIN, or DAR.  Dar's formal name will be CYCLONE'S CHANGING ALL THOSE CHANGES.

Holly left for her new home in Ohio so that she can share her time with Zak, Sally, Jonathan and Seth.  She liked her name so well that she asked to be called HOLLY.  Sally and Holly will be partners in conformation and agility.  Holly's formal name will be CYCLONE'S IT'S SO EASY.

.

Cricket decided that she wanted to live in Pennsylvania with her new mom, Susan.  She wants to be called RAVE, and would like to be Susan's partner in conformation and agility.  Her formal name will be CYCLONE'S RAVE ON.

The breedings between Robby and Jenny were a blend of

HOB NOB, HEELALONG, SOMERSTAR, NORWOOD,
and many other great dogs of the past

that have excelled in obedience, agility, herding and conformation.

Someone once told me that sometimes there is such a nice breeding that all a person can do is close their eyes and pick out a puppy.  I feel that these were that type of breeding.  The puppies from these litters have been so uniform in development and temperament that I found it impossible to choose which is the best.  I am proud to know that everyone that has taken a puppy feels that they have the best puppy of the bunch.

Since the "FIRST" puppies have hit the ground running, I was able to watch closely the 4 puppies that are local to me, as well as keeping in contact with the owners of the 2 puppies that live farther away.  I, along with their owners, am very pleased with how they have developed; in particular, their temperaments and bidability.  They all seem to have gained the best that Jenny and Robby can offer in a performance breeding.  They are well adjusted, cuddly, happy to learn, willing to please, and food and toy motivated.  They are driven, but come with an "off" switch so that none of the human people are pulling their hairs out wondering what they're going to do.  The puppy that I kept, Kit, has had a CERF exam, on Dec. 1, and was found to be clear.  Robby and Jenny were cleared again, as well.

Other people have seen how nicely they have been developing, and I had requests to repeat this breeding.  I did another breeding at her next heat cycle.*  After this, my plan will be to have Jenny spayed so that we can get on with our performance show schedule.

*It is recommended by canine reproduction specialists that if a bitch is to be bred twice, to do two consecutive breedings, then spay, to prevent the incidence of a pyometra or cancer occurrence.  Therefore, introducing:
